Who is MyBookBuyer?

Textbook Buyback and More

MyBookBuyer.com is the online book and textbook buyback service of Beagle Books (with an A rating from the BBB). We find new homes for thousands of books and textbooks every month, and those we absolutely cannot resell we recycle or donate to Resource Area For Teachers (RAFT), a non-profit organization that provides classroom materials to teachers.

The MyBookBuyer.com Textbooks For a Year Scholarship essay contest was first established in 2009. We strive to enhance educational opportunities for students by conducting this scholarship contest twice every year (Spring and Fall). Show your support and "Like" us on our Facebook page!

Spring 2012 Award:

Entries must be submitted on or before midnight PST April 15, 2012 to qualify. One Grand Prize Cash Winner and one (1) Runner-Up Winner will be announced on or before May 31, 2012.

Grand prize: $1,250
Runner-up prize: $250 (each)

Spring 2012 Essay Topic:

Identify one person who has had a significant and positive impact in your life and explain how some of these influences have changed your life. This may be a relative, a teacher or even a public figure who has inspired you.

Applicant Eligibility Requirements:

Essays must be between 500-1000 words.
Essays must be submitted through the MyBookBuyer.com online form before the deadline.
Open to attending college or university students 18 and older who are legal residents of the United States.
Only one entry per scholarship period is allowed
