Who is MyBookBuyer?

Textbook Buyback and More

MyBookBuyer.com is the online book and textbook buyback service of Beagle Books (with an A rating from the BBB). We find new homes for thousands of books and textbooks every month, and those we absolutely cannot resell we recycle or donate to Resource Area For Teachers (RAFT), a non-profit organization that provides classroom materials to teachers.

The MyBookBuyer.com Textbooks For a Year Scholarship essay contest was established to help students cope with the rising cost of education by giving them the opportunity to win enough to pay for textbooks for a year!*

Now Accepting Submissions for Fall 2010!

Fall 2010 Award:

Entries must be submitted on or before October 31, 2010 to qualify. One Grand Prize Cash Winner and two (2) Runner-Up Winners will be announced on or before December 15, 2010.

Grand prize: $1,250
Runner-up prizes: $250 (each)

Fall 2010 Essay Topic:

Which is more important, education or health care? Use support from a book to defend your position.

Essay Rules:

Essays must be between 500-1000 words.
Essays must be submitted through the MyBookBuyer.com online form.
Open to college or university students 18 and older who are legal residents of the United States.
MyBookBuyer.com employees and their relatives are not eligible to win.
Students may enter only once per scholarship period.
All submitted essays become the property of Beagle Books.
Winning essays will appear on the MyBookBuyer.com website, along with the author's name.
